Currently celebrating our 30th anniversary year of making a difference in the lives of residents and the surrounding community, Carol Woods has set the standard for excellence in the industry. Situated on 120 wooded acres, Carol Woods is an accredited, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that attracts active, independent residents from across the country. In February 2009, Standard & Poor’s renewed Carol Woods “A†credit rating, acknowledging our strong board of directors and excellent management team.
Located in close proximity to both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, Carol Woods residents enjoy an active lifestyle of learning, growing and contributing to both Carol Woods and the community at large.
