With temperate weather year round, this secluded and private farm is situated near Rocky Mount and just 45 minutes from Raleigh Airport and a quick six-mile ride from Interstate 95.

At Crooked Creek Farm we understand that your horse is a part of your family and a cherished companion. We offer you nothing but the best of care at our beautiful retirement farm. At all times your horse will have a stall available, run-in shed, full feed and quality hay, and spend much of the day grazing on lush green grass. We also offer natural grazing and specialized daily care as requested.
Forty Years Experience
Owner Ingrid Hillje has forty years of experience and lives on the premises overseeing every aspect of the farm's smooth running. Tender loving care is the standard here. Custom feed, supplements and medications as well as monitoring of medical conditions are also available. We have a vet nearby on call at all times and also a farrier close by.
We specialize in the care of retired horses, ensuring that their "Golden Years" are happy. We also offer boarding for non-retirees, and beginner to intermediate lessons. Please contact us for rates and availability.
