The Laurels
Nestled in a beautiful, safe, home-like environment, The Laurels of Chatham is conveniently located in Pittsboro near Sanford, Siler City and Chapel Hill. Our spacious courtyard and comfortable atmosphere provide a perfect setting for quiet time or social activity. Ample parking is available for family and friends.
Rehabilitation
The professional staff at The Laurels of Chatham can assist you in your transition from hospital to home. An onsite evaluation begins the process of goal-setting. With our individualized restorative nursing programs, we specialize in helping you regain physical independence after your stay in the hospital. By working closely with your physician, our team designs a personal "care plan" to help you meet these goals, achieve the fullest recovery, and return home as soon as possible.
Skilled Nursing
Should you require an extended or short-term stay, we provide the most advanced medical care available outside of a hospital. We offer 24-hour nursing care and around-the-clock admissions for skilled, intermediate and rest home levels of care. We also feature a secured Alzheimer’s unit. Our short-term stay services include rehabilitation and respite care.

We offer crafts, cooking classes, celebrations, community outings, games and gardening in our resident-tended flower and herb gardens for your enjoyment. Local middle and high school students act as volunteer companions at The Laurels. Church services are also available. It's all part of The Laurel Way of Caring.
