Swimming Pools:
We've got them, but mom's don't have to worry because we close the pools at night! Otherwise it may be hard to get the children out. Our newest swimming edition, the Lazy River, has been known to keep the children busy for hours at a time.
If you'd like more sun with less children, visit the Apple Valley Pool. It's quieter than the Trout Stream Pool and Lazy River.
On a rainy day, come to the indoor pool. It is open year round at the Wellness Center. This is where you will find our Hot Tub, Sauna, and Steam Room too.
All our pools feature showers, restrooms, and changing rooms for your convenience.
Indoor Activities
Outdoor Activities Outdoor sports courts, miniature golf, and a beach cabana which serves as the resort's headquarters for boat rentals and lake cruises. Recreation programs include exciting youth programs and off-site outdoor adventures for the the entire family.

Tennis The Resort features four lighted hard surface courts for all the tennis action you could want. A group of dedicated community members keep the Tennis Schedule full all year long and visiting guests are welcome to join play in one of several weekly round robin events. Tennis equipment is availble for rent or purchase at the Wellness Center.

When you're not on a golf course, chances are pretty good you're going to be soaking up some sun, exploring Lake Lure's 736 acres of spectacular scenery, or enjoying one of our other popular resort recreational amenities. Fishing With two beautiful mountain lakes, we've made going on your own or taking your kids fishing simple. Bringing dinner home may be more challenging, but we're sure you will find fishing to be time well spent.
Don't miss ourTuesday Evening Fly Fishing Clinic. Here you will learn from an experienced guide how to fly cast and enjoy this wonderful sport. Even better, we supply all the equipment. The cost is $10.00 per person.
At our resort you may fish off the dock or from a canoe on Bald Mountain Lake without a license. This is perfect for our littlest guests. For the more adventurous, you may charter a pontoon boat or rent our 16 foot BassTracker. If you are 16 or older, fishing on Lake Lure or in area steams requires a NC state fishing license.
The Beach Cabana is stocked with supplies for all your fishing needs. Be sure to call ahead if you plan to bring a boat and inquire about boat permit requirements and boat storage arrangements.
Lots The opportunity to own at Rumbling Bald may be limited, but the experiences you can have here are not.
